JACOBS WELL RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION

( 'JWRA' )

Home: Welcome

WHAT WE DO

The Jacobs Well Residents’ Association (JWRA) exists:

  • To promote the interests of the community of Jacobs Well.

  • To foster community spirit.

  • To work together with statutory bodies on matters of concern, environmental or otherwise, to the village of Jacobs Well and its community.

  • To provide a forum for communication within the Village.

  • To encourage and support groups providing leisure and community activities in the village and to work with them for the benefit of their members and residents of the Village.

  • To publicise the activities and concerns of the community.

  • To raise funds to further the aims of the Association.

If you are looking to book the Village Hall in Jacobs Well, the Jacobs Well Village Hall can help you.

We also work very closely with the  Social Club, which runs the bar and lounge.

For Village Hall bookings and enquiries please contact: bookings@jwvht.co.uk

WANT TO HELP?

Participate!

We hope that as many village residents as possible become members of the JWRA each year to show their support for our aims.  There is a small subscription (currently £2.50 per adult) usually collected in January.

The JWRA Committee is a voluntary group that is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in October.  The Committee meets monthly and you can join (co-opted) at any time throughout the year.

Please do contact us if you are willing to give some time or your skills to help improve our village.
